Cynthia Sumpter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia Sumpter (Weston, West Virginia), who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Eugene Lee Burnside and Ramona Marguerite Lemasters Burnside. She is survived by: her husband James Burke Sumpter; her children, Tracie Michelle Sumpter Dodson (Jonathan Robert Dodson) and Travis James Sumpter (Alexandra Mary Gerrish); her grandchildren, Hannah Grace Dodson, Abigail Faith Dodson, Collin Burke Dodson, Ryland James Sumpter and Adalyn Gray Sumpter; her siblings, Phillip Burnside (Diane) and Bertha Benedum (Eric); and her brothers-in-law, Robert Sumpter and Charles Sumpter (Linda). She is also survived by one niece, six nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at the Hardman Family Funeral Home Friday, January 22, 2021, from 5pm to 7pm where social distancing will be strictly observed.
