He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lee Curtis and Olive Lee Curtis (Fisher); his wife Iva Jane (Ables); his daughter Donna Curtis Goodwin; and his siblings, Junior Curtis and Effie Stutler.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Curtis of Weston, David Curtis of Weston, Darrel Curtis (Melissa) of Weston and Dorthy Curtis (Joseph Hughes) of Weston; his grandchildren, Kassandra Hughes, Shannon Curtis, Chrystal Ramsburg, Michelle Kittle, Carrie Curtis and Jossie Curtis; and his siblings, Lester Curtis (Patty) of Roanoke, Thelma Suttles (Johnny) of Copley, Wilma Riddle of Roanoke and Opal Moon of Weston. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
