He is survived by : his wife Vonda K. Rice Wetzel; his grandchildren, Cody Westbrook Wetzel of Lavalette, WV, Kayla Jane Wetzel of Lavalette, WV and Rachael Tomblyn of Barboursville, WV; his siblings, Gary L. Wetzel (LaDonne) of Bridgeport and Stephanie A. Blagg (Dwain) of Salem, WV; his great grandchildren, Miles and Lucy; and his daughter-in-law Judith Kay of Lavalette.
