He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil Atha Cowgar and Georgia Ann Cowgar (Foster). He is survived by: his daughters, Georgia Lee McCauley (William) of Weston and Brandy Cowgar of Weston; and his siblings, Donald Ferrell of Camden, Hazel Metz of Weston, Brenda Byrd (James) of Weston and Martha Ann Straley of Weston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
