He was predeceased by: his parent Albine Syruws; his former wife Patricia Agnes Garlitz Syrews; his daughter Loriann Syrews; and his siblings, William Syruws, Sue Nair and Roger Syruws.
He is survived by: his parent Eva Virginia Lewis Syruws; his spouse Joan Marie Garlitz Syrews; his children, Robert Syrews (Penny) of Berlin, Eileen Johns (Wayne) of Berlin, Timothy Syrews (Bridgett), Marjorie Messenger (Hoy), Marilyn Syrews of Weston, Terry Syrews (Carol) of Berlin, Kenny Syrews (Donna) of Berlin, Tom Syrews (Delilah) of Berlin, Dave Syrews (Trina) of Berlin and Teresa McCormick (Bill) of Jane Lew; and his siblings, Linda Thompson, Geraldine Haskiell (Bill), Joan DeLabio (Joey) and James Syruws (Nancy). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
