He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Kinney and Ruth Nicholson Kinney; and his brothers, Ray, Ronnie and Robert Kinney.

He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Kinney and Russell Kinney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
