He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leon and Shirley May Walters Hodges; and his wife Felicia Marie Herzog Hodges. He is survived by: his children, Kristen Ryan Miller of Ames, IA and Nicholas "Nick" Robert Potrykus; his siblings, Beverly Gail Csicsek of Goose Creek, SC, Kim Marie Scott (Garrett) and Patricia Ann Parker; and his friend Tiffany Howell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
