She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver B. Landis and Levva Bright Landis; her former husband Clifford Carter; her husband Roy Forsythe; her stepfather Cecil McMillan; her son David Carter; and her stepchildren, Faye Forsythe, Scott Forsythe and Cameron Forsythe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Benevenuti of Huntington Beach, CA and Sue Carter; and her siblings, Sue Towner, Richard McMillan (Pat) and Phillip McMillan (Sheila). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
