She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester B Zinn and Leona Callihan Zinn; her husband Howard Blaine Powell; her son Jay David Powell; and her sister Wilma Lee "Billie" Hill.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Powell (Kimberly) and Jason Powell; her daughter-in-law Paula Powell; her grandchildren, Joshua Powell (Chasity), Angela Nicholson (Wayne), Heather Spurlock (Billy), Brittany Underwood (John), Michelle Powell and Cameron Powell; her great grandchildren, Silas, Chelsea, Alexis, Jaydon, Jayce, Amelia and Caroline; and her siblings, William "Fred" Zinn of Salem, Berlin "Bud" Zinn (Ann) of Salem and Roger Dale Zinn of Salem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
