It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lee Towner of West Union, West Virginia, born in Auburn, West Virginia, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles C. White and Alma Mae White (Sponaugle); her husband Donald Towner Sr.; her daughter Cheryl Bailey; and her siblings, Junior White, Victor White and Katie Vermillion.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Towner Jr. of West Union, John Towner (Tina) of Pennsboro, WV and Cathy Williams (Terry); and her grandchildren, Megan, Dustin, Laura, Rachel, Don, Erin, Kandis and John Jr.. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in Mary's name to the West Union Public Library: 170 Marie St, West Union, WV 26456.
