She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson James and Betty Jane Duffield Smith. She is survived by: her husband Shawn Michael Plance; her daughters, Heather Collins, Carrie Hartley (James Jr) and Brandi McKinney Salem (Brady Carder); her grandchildren, Brian Terrant, Destiny Sigley (Austin), Leviah Hartley and Haven Hartley; her great grandchildren, Layla, Kohen and Baylor; her brothers, Neil Smith Morgantown (Marilyn) and Rick Smith (Peg); and her mother-in-law Melody Smith (New Milton). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home West Union (212 Front St, West Union, WV 26456). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
