He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit D. "Johnny" Powell and Geraldine Idell Douglas Powell; and his sisters, Jerilyn Leasure (Elleen) of Parkersburg, WV and Ruth Ann Trent of Ladson. He is survived by: his wife Kay Powell (Knight); his children, Renee Lipscomb (Christopher Lipscomb) of Morgantown, WV, Heather Danielle Titchenal (Adam), Jonathan Powell (Lenzie Powell) of Big Flint and Doddridge Co; his grandchildren, Caden, Colton, Cohen Lipscomb, Emily Titchenal, Lincoln and Alaina Powell; and his siblings, Elwilda Stout of Belleville, WV, Eva McCall (Ted) of Bridgeport, WV and Daniel Powell (Lisa) of Pataskala, OH..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home West Union (212 Front St, West Union, WV 26456). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
