It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delford Lee Young of West Union, West Virginia, born in Ripley, West Virginia, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Young and Ozella Redman Young; his wife Opal Edwina Adams Young; his son Roger Young; his grandson Adam Young Coffman; and his siblings, Regina Young, Opha Campbell, Falford Campbell, Raymond Young, Dwight Young, Arthur Young and Delano Young.
He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte Lantz (Joe), Linda Coffman (Rick) and Cynthia Spaulding (Steve); his daughter-in-law Carla Young of Kingston, WA; his grandchildren, Manessa Padilla (Joe), Melanie Danuser (Scott), Joseph Lantz (Brandi), Jill Bryant (Jared), Lori Davis (Jeremy), Jordan Hill (Daniel), Emily Doll (Derek), Erin Beck, Alice Linville, Shane Beck (Cheyenne), John Spaulding (Lauren) and Connor Spaulding; and his brother Ron Jackson of Evans, GA. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
