It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Smarr of West Union, West Virginia, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Goldie Ross Underwood; and her children, Debbie Barnes and Brent Smarr. She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie LeBel of West Union, Bridgette Greaver of West Union and Anita "Poki" Johnston; her grandchildren, Lori Mayle (Rocky), Erika Hall (T.), John Michael Barnes, Cody Greaver, Addison, Hayden, Seanna Johnston and Ryder Smarr; and her sister Sherri Dixon. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
