He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Roscoe Henning, Sr. and Minnie Ada Kendall Henning; his wife Zelda "Delores" Jones Henning; and his siblings, Peter James Henning, Clarence Henning and Carol Darras.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna Smith (Jay) of West Union and Charles "Chuck" Henning, III (Shellie) of West Union; his grandchildren, Atlanta Henning, Jayla Collaconto (Sebastian), Kaylee Smith, Jesse Skidmore and Brianna Stiles (Matt); his great grandchildren, Brantley, Evelyn and Kenzie Stiles; and his sister Linda Kay Robinson of West Milford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
