He was predeceased by: his parents, Beryl Ove and Darlene Rose Winland Carpenter; his son Barry Eugene Carpenter; and his sister Cheryl Lasure. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Ann Heflin Carpenter; his children, Crystal Porter, Rusty Carpenter and Shawn Ryan Carpenter; and his brother Dana Carpenter (Artie). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
