He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Freeman and Beulah Cook Freeman; his wife Odessa Faye Freeman; his son Clarence "Eddie" Freeman Sr.; his grandparents, Calvin Freeman, Annie Criscillis, James Cook and Nancy Elkins; his grandchildren, Jimmy Joe and Florence; his brothers, David, Jimmy and Jeff Freeman; and his parents-in-law, Archie Frazier Sr. and Junie Wiley Frazier.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Freeman of West Logan, June (Bobby Tackett), Calvin "Gene" Jr. (Dreama Freeman), Chris Freeman of Myrtle Beach, SC, Benjamin (Paula Freeman) and Charles David Freeman of West Logan; his grandchildren, Calvin, Tristan, Kevin, John, Scott, Joshua, Samantha, Joey, Mary Faye, Brittany, Eddie, Kelsey, Andrew, Brandon, Stephanie and Alex; and his siblings, Doris Queen (Bob), Sherry Adkins (Gary) and Ed Freeman (Vanessa).
