She is survived by: her child Shawnita Lynn May (Nathan Payne) of Hurricane; her grandchildren, Brady Scott, Madilyn Grace Miller, Brian Douglas Ray, Avery Lucas, Madison Faith Ray and Xaden Alexander Ray; her siblings, Clarence "Junior" May, Gary May, Timmy May, Tamara Hager, Odessa May, Brenda Brooks of Branchland, WV and Tina Dean (James) of Hurricane, WV; and her close friend Phillip "Wayne" Adkins of Prichard, WV.. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McGhee-Handley Funeral Home (6670 McClellan St, West Hamlin, WV 25571). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Franklin Cemetery.
