It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Jo Hudson of West Hamlin, West Virginia, who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Billy Jo leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Billy Jo may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tal Bias and Sybil Bias. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Hudson; his sons, Jason Hudson (Candace) and Brett Hudson (Kristi) of West Hamlin; his grandchildren, Jacob Hudson, Kallie and Emma Hudson; and his stepdaughter Kendra Vance (Mikey) of Harts.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGhee-Handley Funeral Home (6670 McClellan St, West Hamlin, WV 25571). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bias Cemetery.
