It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hattie Jane McDaniel of West Columbia, West Virginia, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank McDermitt and Goldie McDermitt (Simpson); her husband John Harve McDaniel; her children, Johnny Dean McDaniel and Mary Jewel Lewis; and her siblings, Emma Rogers, Bill McDermitt, Louise Robinson and John McDermitt.
She is survived by: her son David McDaniel (Sherry) of West Columbia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations towards the funeral expenses.
