It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William David Almasy of Wellsburg, West Virginia, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Almasy and Mary Almasy (Barsnick); and his sisters, JoAnn Brancazio (Cosmo) and Norma Tokash (Joe). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Almasy (Palmer); his children, Cynthia Paesano (Frank) of Follansbee, WV and Dr. William Almasy (Cheryl) of Mt. Morris, PA; his sister Laura McCullough (Almasy) of Follansbee, WV; and his grandchildren, Deidrea Paesano and Jake Paesano (Ashley). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
