He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward George Vargo Sr. and Wilma Estherine Fornari Vargo; and his brothers, Edward "Eddie" George Vargo Jr. and William "Bill" Vargo. He is survived by: his siblings, John Vargo (Linda) and Katherine Vargo Thomas of Wellsburg, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
