He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward M. George and Katherine Sherrard George (Wickersham); his daughter Rebecca Ann; and his brother Ned George. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann George (Watson); his sons, Mark Edward George of Atlanta, GA and John Sherrard George Jr. (Alexandra George) of Mars, PA; his grandchildren, Melina, Amalea and Joshua George; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Pellicciotti and Sandra George. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
