He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Lyle Sr. and Betty Lee Lyle (Marling). He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Lyle (Grotz); his son James John "Jimmy" Lyle (Monica); and also Bonnie Colley. He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
