With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joann Capp of Wellsburg, West Virginia, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joann left this world on December 26, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Staten and Thelma Staten (Schupbach); her husband Ernest Capp; and her siblings, Robert "Bob", Walter, Fred Staten and Jackie Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Ernest Capp (Marianne); her grandchildren, Joshua Whitt, Jeremy Whitt and Jenna Wilson (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Audrianna and George "Geo" Wilson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home (1030 Main St, Wellsburg, WV 26070). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
