He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Barnes and Magdalene "Mac" Barnes (Rasz); and his cousins, John Rasz and Patrick Magee. He is survived by: his daughters, Bethany Barnes-Petrie (Cody) of Follansbee, WV and Lauren Mazzone (Sam Delong) of Weirton, WV.
