With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robie Roland Castle of Welch, West Virginia, born in Dungannon, Virginia, who passed away on October 22, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bishop Castle and Lottie Baldwin Castle; his siblings, Mack, Bill Castle, Faye Sutherland and Edith Castle; and his stepdaughter Ann Sexton.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Lee Green Castle; his sister Judy Sutherland; his stepgranddaughter Kristin Cline (Jamie) of Gilbert; his stepgreat-granddaughter Haylei Rowe of Pineville; and his nephew Jerry Sutherland. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to his church, Helping Hands Hemphill Holiness Church, 4335 Stewart Street, Welch, WV 24801.

“I saw Robie on several occasions. Enjoyed talking with him, I could tell he loved life. Robie obviously loved to dance, and loved to flat-foot. Robie was very good at flat-foot dancing, as evidenced by awards he won. Robie put a smile on lots of peoples faces with his high energy dancing. I missed seeing him at brother Bob's birthday party today. God bless.”
