He was predeceased by: his father James E. Ward; and his brothers, David and Raymond Ward. He is survived by: his mother Vennie L. Edwards Ward of Bluefield; and his brother James A. "Booby" (Ninette Ward).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Havaco Temple Baptist Church (609 Havaco Dr, Welch, WV 24801). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
