It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Dale Lane Sr. of Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anthony Layne and Mary Ettie Workman Lane; and his sisters, Margie Lane and Gracie Green. He is survived by: his wife Gracie Diane Lane; his children, Larry Dale Lane Jr. (Breanna Odum) of Welch, Amy Lane (Eric Johnson) of Princeton, Jessica Pernell (Richard) of Welch and Britany Ferrell (James) of Gary; his siblings, Ricky Lane of Pineville, Allen Lane of Pineville, Jimbo Lane of Pineville, Tom Lane, Douglas Lane, Bill Lane and Lorene Green of Pineville; and his pets, Peaches and Scooby. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
