Delphine Riffe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delphine Riffe of Welch, West Virginia, born in Iaeger, West Virginia, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harve Sullivan and Isabelle Virginia Bailey; her husband Herman Riffe; her granddaughter Ashley Dotson; her son-in-law David Dotson; her grandparents, Bill and Dicey Bailey; and her siblings, Bobby Sullivan, Norma Jean O'Dell and William Harve "Bill" Sullivan.
She is survived by: her daughter Catheia "Kay" Dotson; her siblings, Junie Cline (Nim) of Patrick Springs, VA, Larry Sullivan (Robert Chapman) of Martinsville, VA and Doug Cline (Patsy) of Homer Glen, Illinois.; her caregiver Connie Bivens; her grandchildren, Adyn Skye Daniels, Haileigh Renee Burkett and Branson Burkett; and her pet Tippy Toes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (19816 Coal Heritage Rd, Welch, WV 24801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
