He was predeceased by: his parents, William Macey and Helen Macey; his wife Sophia B. Kasica Macey; and his siblings, Ann Kelps, Helen McCann, Katherine Shanahan, Mary L. Rodak, Margaretta Churchman, John, Michael and George Macey.

He is survived by: his nephew Gerald Macey; and his cousin Sharon Gill.
