We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2023, at the age of 83, Wayne C. Ellis of Weirton, West Virginia, born in Wheeling, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Ellis and Ruth Blattner Ellis; his brothers, William Ellis and James Ellis; and his stepmother Sara Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Elizabeth Garland Ellis; his sons, Charles "Chuck" Ellis (Darlene), David Ellis, Richard Ellis (Linda) and Wayne Ellis, Jr. (Penny); his grandchildren, Nina Dlugopolski (Chad), Zachary Ellis (Izzy Murray), Holly Ellis, Ashley Randolph (Forrest Porter) and Nathan Gomola; his great grandchildren, Paizley, Lilly, Zachary, Braxton and Malia; his sister Mary Ann Wilson; and his pet Rudy. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
