It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra F. Urbowicz of Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Krivak and Helena Nagy Krivak; her husband Walter; her son Mark Urbowicz; and her son-in-law Tommy Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughters, JoLynn Urbowicz (Sally Sligar) of Westerville, OH. and Carol Cooper of Weirton; her daughter-in-law Barb Urbowicz; her grandchildren, Dr. Courtney Levendorf (Ethan), Taylor Engeler (Gregory) and Matthew Urbowicz (Allison); her great grandchild Nolan Engeler; her siblings, Dennis Krivak (Janice) and Judy Welch (Bob); her nieces and nephews, Amy Welch, Torie Mazurek (Mike), Jeffrey Welch (Maria) and Jason Krivak (Marcie); her great-niece Aubry Krivak; and her great-nephews, Alec Krivak and Andrew Krivak.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062).
