He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman H. Gracie and Anjenetta Lyke Gracie; and his brother Robert "Bob" Gracie. He is survived by: his wife Donna Shank Gracie; his children, Michael, John Gracie (Karen) and Mary Gracie; his siblings, Richard "Rick" Gracie (Betty), Scott Gracie and Patty Rhoades; his sister-in-law Rhonda Gracie; his grandsons, Dainen Richmond and Jacob Dunne; and his pet Laci.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Hancock County Animal Shelter.
