He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hamilton and Florence Hamilton (Smith); and his brothers, Ernie, Thomas, Philip and Andrew.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert L. Hamilton, Jr. of Wellsburg, WV and James Hamilton (Lindsay) of Wellsburg, WV; the mother of his children Lori Isinghood of Wellsburg, WV; and his brother Joe Hamilton of Weirton, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
