With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Byrd of Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on December 28, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Byrd and Evelyn Motley Byrd; his wife Shirley Curtis Byrd; and his siblings, Wilma Byrd and David L. Byrd, Sr..
He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Morris (John) of Marietta, GA; his siblings, Anthony Byrd (Michelle) of Dayton, Ohio, Felicia Byrd of Charlotte and Kathryn Parrish of Mankato, Minnesota; his granddaughter Kiersten Richmond (Peter); and his great grandchildren, Ava and Elias Richmond of Woodstock, GA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers.
Please note that Mr. Byrd's family kindly asks that masks be worn at all times and social distancing be maintained during the funeral.
