He was predeceased by: his father Robert Arlen Hines Sr.; his brother James "Bo" Threet; and his pet Bumper Hines. He is survived by: his friends, Roberta Schwartz and Jeanne; his wife Jacky Hines; his sons, Jacob Hines (Anthony) and Robert Hines III (Kodi); his grandchildren, Amari Gegas Hines and Lyrica Rose Hines; his sisters, Minnie Walters, Enola Gay Threet and Stefanie Herrin; his mother-in-law Carole Farley; his goddaughter Alita Barrett; and his close friend Bobby Duvall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of loving friends.
