It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. McKitrick (Weirton, West Virginia), who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene G. McKitrick and Grace E. McGaughey McKitrick; and his brothers, Robert McKitrick (Marlene) and Raymond McKitrick (Lucy). He is survived by: his wife June L. Gareis McKitrick; his children, Richard "Dickie" McKitrick (Joyce) and Karen McKitrick of Paris; his grandchildren, Erica Stevens Dawson (Jeremy) of Weirton, Melissa McKitrick (Kyle Trimarki) of Paris, Trisha McKitrick Frantz (Ryan) of St. Petersburg, FL and Patrick Stevens (Valerie Adams) of Paris; and his great grandchildren, Amber Dawson Springer (Zach) of Weirton, Logan, Lucas Dawson of Weirton and Maverick Springer.
