He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Duckworth; and his sister Barbara Duckworth. He is survived by: his mother Alice Wright Duckworth; his wife Mary Duckworth; his sons, Michael (Tina) and Kurt Duckworth (Rachel); his sister Debbie Zuccolotto (Henry); his grandchildren, Amanda Dennis, Autumn Duckworth, Aubrey Duckworth, Katelyn Kirby, Owen Duckworth and Jessica Barnhart; and his great grandchildren, Benson Dennis and Maverick Dennis.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
