He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stewart and Biddie Stewart; his wife Maggie Brown Stewart; his son Gary Stewart; and his siblings, Anita Scarff, Jesse, James Stewart, Robert Stewart and Jerry Stewart.
He is survived by: his son Paul L. Stewart, Jr. (Tina) of Weirton, WV; his grandchildren, P. Zachary Stewart (Erin) and Kristen Marie Stewart (Kelli); and his great grandchildren, Everett, Neil and Mila.
