It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Pavel of Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Kirkpatrick and Violet Howe Kirkpatrick; her son Christopher William Pavel; and her sisters, Edna Hutchinson and Betty White.
She is survived by: her husband John Pavel, Jr.; her son John Pavel III; her grandchildren, Matthew Pavel and Nichole Pavel; and her great grandchildren, Liliana and Jaxon Jones.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church (140 Walnut St, Weirton, WV 26062).
Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's memory to Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
