She was predeceased by: her parents, Guilio Bernola and Delia Carnali Bernola; her sisters, Joann Bernola and Bonita Boni; and her pet Buddy.
She is survived by: her children, Michael S. Macaluso, Jr. (Teresa), Brian Macaluso (Judy), Jennifer Banda (Mark) and Julie Lesho (Jamie); her siblings, John Bernola (Ann) and Kathleen Bernola; her grandchildren, Erin, Nicholas, Christian Banda, Marissa, Brandon Macaluso (Julia), Ross Macaluso (Cicely) and Alayna Ewusiak (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Sienna Layne Ewusiak and Lucia June Macaluso. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
