He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie H. Chafin and Jessie E. Chafin (Boyd); his wife Deborah Chafin (Williamson); and his siblings, Robert Chafin, William L. Chafin and Dixie Frankhouser.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Robert Chafin, Mark Bennet, Londa Renee Wade (Rick) and Chelle Yvonne Shepard (Shawn); his grandchildren, Travis Shepard, Brendon Wade, Emma Brooks, Anthony Goffoli, Gianna and Domenic Chafin; his great grandchildren, Avery Shepard and Loyal Howard; his siblings, David Chafin and Anita Kendricks; and his friends, Gary and Maggie Clark.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062).
