It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Virginia Lewis of Weirton, West Virginia, born in McMechen, West Virginia, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Frederick and Ida Mae Bickerton Slie; her husband Earl William Lewis; her daughter Caroline Lee Mazzo; and her siblings, Thomas, Herbert, Clyde, Ruth Greene (Slie), Harold, Charles and John.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Louise Lewis (Mark) of Pittsburgh and Jenny Lynn Cummings (Mark) of Weirton; her grandchildren, Carrie Townsend, Philip "Tres" Lewis, Molanda "Molly" Mazzo, Megan Lundy, Christina and Joshua Cummings; her great grandchild Kyle Mazzo; and her great great grandchild James Mazzo.
