He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ritchie and Mardelle Rossell Ritchie; his brother John Ritchie; and his uncle Robert Rossell. He is survived by: his spouse Michele Garan of Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church; his daughters, Susan Adams (Skyler Roth) of Weirton, Lauren Oktela (Brandon) of Pittsburgh, PA and Kristin Edwards (J. Bryan) of Morgantown, WV; his grandchildren, Amelia Adams (Ryan Kirk), Alexis Adams, Alison Zima, Gary Nathaniel Edwards and Larry Joshua Edwards; and his mother-in-law Olga Garan. He is also survived by his brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association and to the St. Joseph the Worker Building Fund (Weirton).
