John Foster Perkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Foster Perkins of Weirton, West Virginia, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Perkins and Marie Ward Perkins; his son Michael Perkins; his stepson Michael Walker; and his brother Richard "Rick" Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Shultz Walker; his children, John Perkins (Sherri) and Donna Peters (Paul); his stepdaughter Diane Walker; his sister Judy Davis (Jim); his sisters-in-law, Betty Perkins and Karen McIntyre; his granddaughters, Jessica Bastardo (Preston), Casey Peters, Madison, Miranda Perkins, Brittany and Tiffany Walker; and his great grandchildren, Brea, Makai Howard, Arabella Bezak, Ashton, Brayden Walker and Lily Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
