With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Ginger Truax of Weirton, West Virginia, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on June 27, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patsy Dettore and Leona Paolomellio Dettore; her sons, James and Robert Truax; her siblings, George, Frank, Julius, Anna and Eleanor; and her son-in-law Stanley Zgurski.
She is survived by: her husband Walter; her children, Kenny Truax (Karen) of Weirton, Randy Truax (Teresa) of Wintersville and Pamela Zgurski of Weirton; her brother Alfred Dettore; and her daughter-in-law Carmen Truax. She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
