James Edward Maderia Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Maderia Sr. of Weirton, West Virginia, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Maderia and Eleanor Tharp (Cross); and his stepfather Donald Tharp. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Maderia; his children, James Maderia Jr. and Kylie Maderia; his grandchildren, Jaxson Maddox, Leo and Chance; and his siblings, Herman Cross, Robert Maderia, Joseph Maderia and Cindy Bailey. He is also survived by companion and friend, "Judy Blue" and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James Funeral Home (1245 Main St, Follansbee, WV 26037). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
