It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Maderia Sr. of Weirton, West Virginia, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Maderia and Eleanor Tharp (Cross); and his stepfather Donald Tharp. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Maderia; his children, James Maderia Jr. and Kylie Maderia; his grandchildren, Jaxson Maddox, Leo and Chance; and his siblings, Herman Cross, Robert Maderia, Joseph Maderia and Cindy Bailey. He is also survived by companion and friend, "Judy Blue" and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
