He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline Louise Rosnick; his adoptive son Dennis Pyles; his daughter Katherine Audrey Pyles; and his siblings, Lemoyne, Gerald Pyles, Antoinette Dolores Pahanish and Lila Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Dressel (Gregory) of Pawleys Island, SC and James Pyles of Oxnard, CA. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
