He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Anetakis and Georgia Pehenakis Anetakis; and his brother John Anetakis. He is survived by: his friends, Art Sosenko, Manny Alatis, Zip Suray and Mike Rumora; his wife Jacquelyn Wallace Anetakis; his brother Louis Anetakis (Irene); his children, James George "Jimmy" Anetakis (Gina), J. George "Jack" Anetakis (Zoe) and Margaret Steiner (David); and his grandchildren, Liv, Erik Steiner, Isabella Anetakis, Theodora and George Anetakis.
In George's memory, memorial contributions may be made to the WVU College of Law. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in George J. Anetakis 's name.
